I've recently come across an ingenious product from Humanized. Enso is a program that runs in the background on your computer, and what it does is it allows you to open/spellcheck/play/command/etc. any program with a few simple keys.
Enso takes advantage of the Caps Lock key (due its uselessness to most people) and allows one to enter commands while holding it down. For example, if I wanted to open a Notepad document, all I'd have to do is hold Caps Lock and type open notepad to open Notepad. Enso even guesses the program by what you commonly choose and related spellings. Enso was designed to allow more functionality into people's lives.
The best thing about Enso is that it's completely free! Plus Enso 2.0 is in the making, and Humanized is working with Mozilla. Who knows how great Firefox could be when these two companies team up. So anyway, check it out at the Humanized website. They also have addons like maps which make (technological) life so much easier. The program is relatively small and runs really well on basic computers.
